If you attach film on the outside, you should make sure that the temperature is not below 5 degrees.
Sun protection film can only be applied to gas filled windows and sloped roof windows from the outside, otherwise the glass could break.
Sun protection film should never be stuck on only parts of window panes, since this would cause stress cracks and thus breaking of glass, i.e. a window pane must always have sun protection film stuck on the entire surface!
(This does not apply to translucent film, decorative film as well as UV protective film!)
The following applies to Kynar film (self-cleaning film):
Kynar film has a clear protective film on both sides. One film protects the self-adhesive film side, which will be stuck on to the window pane. The second protective film serves as protection from scratching during fitting (during squeezing/pressing on) and is only removed after fitting.
